How does your time at SPU connect to what you’re doing today?

SPU did a fantastic job of helping me understand the systemic and structural issues that many people face in our country, as well as gain a deeper understanding of other social justice issues that are necessary to wrestle with as followers of Jesus.

Which SPU faculty or staff member made a difference in your education?

Dr. Rebecca Hughes was incredibly supportive. She helped make history come alive to me and also helped me see how it plays such a role in our context today.

What advice would you give to current SPU students?

Life is an adventure — don’t hold back!
